Our Story
Paper and Twine was born from our own homeschool journey. As a Christian family in Oregon, we know firsthand how important — and how expensive — quality curriculum books can be.

We're a Christian family living in Oregon who chose to homeschool our children. Early on, we discovered that buying new curriculum books every year was a major expense — and that many families around us felt the same way.
We started collecting, restoring, and sharing used school books with other homeschool families. What began as a small effort quickly grew into something bigger: a community of parents helping each other access quality education materials at a fraction of the cost.
Today, Paper and Twine serves homeschool teachers and families across Oregon. We carefully restore used curriculum books, organize them by subject and grade level, and connect families through our book clubs.
Education starts at home. We support families who choose to teach their children with love and intention.
Restoring books gives them new life. We believe in caring for resources and making education affordable.
Homeschooling is better together. We connect families so no one walks this path alone.
As a Christian family, our faith guides everything we do — from how we serve to how we treat each book.
